VideoTagGame is a new multi-player video game that helps to investigate tagging for streamed video. The goal is to explore the quality of streamed video tagging mechanisms, to research the ability of users to tag video and the level of agreement between users in a time-sensitive setting.
In the VideoTagGame, players are simultaneously shown a video stream, such as a movie clip, and asked to come up with a number of tags to associate with the video. If two players agree on a tag, each player receives points. The points that are awarded are proportional to the time difference between the two players submitting their tags; the shorter the time difference, the greater the points
Try our demo today and challenge yourself and your friends to a friendly game of tagging streaming video.
VideoTagGame was created by the Search Technologies, Economics and Social Systems groups.

Comment by joy (July 23, 2009, 9:24 am)I took a peek at this in passing. My problem is not with the idea but is with the demo. I was shocked and very annoyed that my addy was posted whilst others were identified by nics only Why was that? Why was I not told that could, never mind would, happen? So don't be expecting me to test other features.
